"Not many complaints.."

submission: Freedom.1
date: December 1, 2003

.. in fact, the only problem I have with it is that the voices are very grainy.

Count Vampula: Episode I

"About Fonts..."

date: December 1, 2003

Generally it's acceptable to use 2 different fonts in any certain project: One Serif or gaudy font such as you have used already, and a san-serif, which is a font without any little flourishes. The Gaudy font should really only be used for Titles, and possibly subtitles, because if they're used for normal reading, they can be very hard to follow, which is the case in this flash. The font used for the dialogue here is somewhat hard to read, and the really gothic font you use at the beginning doesn't work at all when you're telling us about the next episode.

Also, "firmiliar" should be "familiar", "I've", not "i've". "You've losed your sword" could possibly be better worded as "You've LOST your sword"

Anyway, good luck with your flash, and I look forward to your next one. =)

The True Story of Den

"Malicious and yet...!"

date: November 30, 2003

I had never heard about DEN before this flash, but it was such a well put together flash, that I felt compelled to look into it a bit more. Sure enough, sexual misconduct allegations etc. Who would have thought that would really happen in the real world? =)

Anyway, good job. Although the style wasn't original, the execution of that style was done very well. Make more flash!

ORIGAMI

"Neet!"

submission: ORIGAMI
date: November 30, 2003

That's very crisp flash, and it's so simple by first glance, and yet it has so much to it. Consider making more of these in differing origami shapes, and string them together in one larger flash. Hey, maybe someone would buy it, even. ;)

Will Stamper's Final Task

"Yikes"

date: November 30, 2003

I dunno the guys that you're picking on, or what they did to deserve this, but I thought it was kind of funny in a sick sort of way. Or is it sick in a funny sort of way. Well, whatever. I can't wait to see what else you submit. =P

Underworld Episode 2

"The End...?"

date: November 30, 2003

Yes, please.

I mean, how does someone's torso suddenly grow evil green eyes? That seems so macabre for a movie that was just about some drunks fighting.

Friend.

"Cute!"

submission: Friend.
date: November 29, 2003

That was really very sweet. Well, as sweet as you can get with a flash with monsters that come out of other monsters' eyes! Nonetheless, it was very sesame streetish, and as silly as that sounds, that's probably why I liked it. =P

Techno Lust

"Woot"

submission: Techno Lust
date: November 29, 2003

Hey, that was really good. If it were a little bit longer, it would have been perfect. I feel like it ended when it had just warmed up. Don't compress the music; techno is very sensitive to adjustments in its quality. All in all, it was worht the wait in the download time, and I'd be willing to wait longer for a longer version.

in my head

"Bleh"

submission: in my head
date: November 29, 2003

This is definitely a turd if there ever was one. But on the bright side, I can see that the author has the *potential* to make a decent film. The little orange ball saying "what?" was somewhat artsy.. and if you did something in that style without say, random feet falling from the sky. Get a coherent story going, and I'm sure you will do well.

Author's Response:

i could do that.

maybe later. ^_^

DemonClock vs DemonClock

"Take some extra time :)"

date: November 29, 2003

That was alright.. I'm happy with the graphics, despite the fact that there was no story apparent to the Clock Layman. You're right though, the ending was rushed. It seemed a little odd that they melee'd with no weapons just to have a sword appear pretty much out of nowhere. It's allowable to take the extra time to get a superior flash animation out. Take two days instead of one. ;)

Author's Response:

Or maybe 3!
